AN ADDITIONAL BGN 24.6 MILLION UNDER OPHRD 2014-2020 WILL BE DIRECTED TO MAINTAINING EMPLOYMENT

The Government agreed that the Managing Authority of the Operational Programme “Human Resources Development” (OPHRD) 2014-2020 to conclude contracts for the provision of grants of up to 0.95% above the budget of the Operational Programme in connection with measures to combat COVID-19. In this way BGN 24,612,132 will be provided, which will enable timely actions to be taken to support employees.

105 COMPANIES AND INSTITUTIONS FROM THE CENTRAL AND LOCAL GOVERNMENT WILL BUILD “CHILDREN`S CORNERS” IN THE WORKPLACE

A total of 86 companies and 19 institutions from the central and local government will create children's corners in the workplace, which will take care of more than 1,700 children of their employees. The projects are implemented under the Children's Corners Measure of the Operational Programme “Human Resources Development”, the total value of the approved projects is over BGN 6.6 million.

The average pension in 2022 will reach BGN 573.76 without the COVID supplement of BGN 60, which will be paid to all pensioners in the period January-June. This is provided by the draft law of the 2022 State Social Insurance (SSI) budget, which was approved by the government.
