He will be responsible for the management of European Union funds and the ministry's activities related to international cooperation.
He was born in 1980 in Stara Zagora. He obtained his diploma of secondary education at the Romain Rolland High School with a profile in English. He graduated with a master's degree in International Relations from the St. Kliment Ohridski Sofia University, and with a master's degree in finance from the University of National and World Economy.
His professional career is closely connected with the Ministry of Labour and Social Policy, where in 2006 he started his career in the European Funds, International Programs and Projects Directorate.
From 2011 to 2013 he was Director General of the European Funds and International Projects Directorate General at the Employment Agency. In 2013, he was appointed Deputy Minister of Education and Science, where he was responsible for international and European cooperation, management of EU funds and international programs.
In the period 2014-2019 he worked as an expert on European integration and was engaged in the preparation of positions, opinions, expert papers on topics related to the activities of the Member of the European Parliament Georgi Pirinski. Since July 2019 he has held the position of Secretary of the Delegation of the Bulgarian Socialists in the European Parliament.
He is the author of a number of publications on topics related to the management of European Union funds, the labour market, socio-economic inequalities, higher and vocational education.
