More than 30,000 vacancies for Bulgarian and Ukrainian citizens, applied for by employers or under subsidized employment measures, are provided by the Ministry of Labor and Social Policy, the Employment Agency and the Human Resources Development Program. This was said by the Executive Director of the Employment Agency Smilen Valov during a briefing of the Operational Coordination Group of the Government to support those fleeing the war in Ukraine.

Voluntary questionnaires for their professional competence were also completed. So far, about 2,400 Ukrainians with temporary protection status have started working under an employment contract.
"From Monday, we will start outsourced workstations in 72 places, many of them will be in the resorts. The goal is for Bulgarian and Ukrainian citizens wishing to start work to be immediately provided with a vacancy with the coordinates of an employer", Mr. Valov explained. He clarified that 75% of employers who have applied for jobs have the opportunity to hire staff immediately, and 50% can provide permanent employment.
