Persons with disabilities who wish to receive free vignettes can also apply for them electronically through the secure electronic service system. The aim is to avoid crowds in front of the Social Assistance Directorates where, traditionally, the use of vignette stickers is declared in person. There is a third option – the documents can submitted through a licensed postal operator or by email: ao@asp.government.bg.

Each electronic vignette shall be valid for one year as from the date of its issue, and it is recommended that the new applications should be submitted about 10 days before the expiration of the current ones.
