NADYA KLISURSKA - DEPUTY MINISTER OF LABOUR AND SOCIAL POLICY

НАДЯ КЛИСУРСКА - ЗАМЕСТНИК МИНИСТЪР НА ТРУДА И СОЦИАЛНАТА ПОЛИТИКА

Nadya Klisurska holds a Master's degree in Bulgarian Language and History from Paisii Hilendarski University of Plovdiv and a Master’s degree in Law from the St. Cyril and St. Methodius University of Veliko Tarnovo. She has additional qualifications from the European Institute of Public Administration in Maastricht, the Institute of Public Administration, and others.

She has worked in the municipal administrations of Strelcha and Pazardzhik.  For two consecutive terms, she served as a municipal councillor in Pazardzhik. From 2015 to April 2021, she was a member of the Regional Bar Association in the city. Between 2017 and 2021, she served as a Member of Parliament from the BSP for Bulgaria parliamentary group in the 44th National Assembly. She was a member of the following parliamentary committees: Legal Affairs, Labour, Social and Demographic Policy and Citizens' Complaints and Relations with Non-Governmental Organizations.

In 2021, she was appointed Deputy Minister of Labour and Social Policy.  She held the same position again from August 2022 to June 2023.
