48 projects to improve the social environment and social infrastructure will be funded by the Ministry of Labor and Social Policy's Beautiful Bulgaria project in 2020. These include the renovation of the buildings of 8 schools and 11 kindergartens. This was decided by the Project Steering Committee at today's meeting.

With the implementation of the 48 project proposals, nurseries and kindergartens, schools, administrative buildings, health and sports facilities, cultural homes, a community center, a library and a museum will be renovated and repaired. With the financing of the project, three buildings for the provision of social services will be renovated - one Day Center and two Family-type Accommodation Centers.

The total value of the approved projects is BGN 9.5 million. Of these, BGN 4 million is provided under the Beautiful Bulgaria Project and the rest is co-financing by the beneficiaries.

It is expected that at least 500 persons will be employed in the implementation of the approved project proposals, of which at least 230 are registered with the Labor Offices as unemployed. Within the framework of the Beautiful Bulgaria Project, 12 qualification courses will be held, which will assist in the training and subsequent successful realization on the labor market of over 120 unemployed persons.
