Hasan Ademov was born on 24 January 1953 in the town of Isperih, Bulgaria. He graduated from the Medical University in Varna in 1979 and specialized in Anaesthesiology and Resuscitation.
Hasan Ademov was a Member of Parliament from the 38th to the 47th and in the 51st National Assembly. His legislative activity is concentrated in the field of social policy, labour, employment and health.
He was Chairperson of the Parliamentary Committee on Labour, Social and Demographic Policy in four National Assemblies. He also led the Committee on Demographic Policy, Children and Family. During the period 2013 – 2014, he was Minister of Labour and Social Policy in the Plamen Oresharski Government.
He was also a member of the Parliamentary Committee on Health, and his participation is also related to his professional profile as a doctor. He has also participated in the Committee on Budget and Finance, as well as in some temporary and specialised committees related to the investigation of public expenditure in healthcare (e.g. prices for medicines paid with budget funds).
In various mandates, he was a member of friendship groups between Bulgaria and other countries.
