
ADRIANA GEORGIEVA STOIMENOVA
Deputy Minister of Labour and Social Policy
As Deputy Minister, Adriana Stoimenova organises and coordinates the activities of the Ministry of Labour and Social Policy in the field of people with disabilities, social protection and support, equal opportunities, gender equality and anti-discrimination. She monitors and coordinates the activities of the People with Disability Policy, Equal Opportunities and Social Assistance Directorate and the Agency for People with Disabilities
Adriana Stoimenova has a Master of Economics degree in Human Resource Management from the University of National and World Economy, a Master's degree in Family Therapy and Counselling of People with Disabilities from Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski", training in Lobbying and Advocacy for Disadvantaged Groups at the University of Georgia, USA, Theoretical and Technological Aspects of Integration Education at University "Prof. Asen Zlatarev" - Burgas.
Until March 2019, Adriana Stoimenova was Deputy Chair of the national representative organisations with the National Council for Integration of People with Disabilities under the Council of Ministers. She has been a member of the Economic and Social Council - Bulgaria since 2010.
She has experience in planning and implementing programs and projects related to the social integration of people with disabilities, administrative and financial management of organisational policies related to human rights activities, and campaigns for which she has been responsible.
