We have chosen the Pernik region from many Bulgarian regions, not just as a result of the restructuring of Pernik's industries, but also because of the spirit of its people and their endeavour to combat difficulties.

     The Ministry of Labour and Social Policy will combine its efforts with those of the people in Pernik, , Radomir and Breznik, to show that the region has not only a history but also a future.
